About:

Al Ameda is an indie-folk songwriter out of Colorado Springs. Their music takes playful fingerpicking on a melodic ride, evoking the likeness of folk giants from the 1960s and 70s. Thematically, Al Ameda doesn’t shy away from any topics. Some songs are an earnest depiction of love, joy, and friendship, while others explore conflict, grief, and the consequences of our political reality. From the wildly whimsical to the bleak and cynical, Al seeks to connect with listeners through shared values of authenticity and compassion, all with an ever-present hint of existential absurdity.
